his land, consisting of approximately 46.50 acres, more or less, is located on FURR Road, Piedmont, SC, 29673, and was purchased years ago by the late Ray Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins started to develop the land and obtained approvals for a site plan and grading permit. Both of these expired after two years since Mr. Hawkins had other interests. Since that time, most all the area around this property has been developed into housing, and it sits directly across the road from where at least 20 houses are under construction, and more than that already built and sold.
The area is served by Public Water, Public Sewer, and Natural Gas and borders on Grove Creek on the back side of the property.
It will be offered at Auction on Thursday, June 24th at 1 pm. The Terms of the Auction are:
Ten Percent (10%) Buyers Fee will be added to the final bid to arrive at the final Contract Price. A ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000) Escrow Deposit will be made by the successful bidder and the balance due within 45 days following the Auction. This deposit will be held in the Escrow Account of the Auctioneer and credited to the purchaser at closing. All the closing costs will be paid by the purchaser. The purchaser will receive an insurable title to the property at closing. Other terms may be announced at the Auction and take precedence over any previous statements or advertisements.
